Praseeda Kalarikal ; a paragon of fortitude and cheerfulness.

Praseeda Kalarikal, hailing from Kerala has set a model for all married women, not only through music, but her journey too. She has won Mrs. Stylish 2019, and is all set to soar greater heights with her singing career.

She is also trained in classical music. Her first venture was an All India Light Music competition, organised by a Delhi based school, in which she came in the final shortlist, beating about 3000 students, with almost 100 from her own school. She had focussed on her studies afterwards, along with making minor stage appearances in school and college functions. Her first appearance as a playback singer was for an album titled "Nilathattam", with musician Afzal Yusuf and singers including Sithara Krishnakumar. By then, she had established her career in human resource department, in a Dubai based firm, with regional office at Cochin.

Her next project was for a movie starring Indrajith Sukumaran, titled "Ee Yathrayil", voicing the lyrics of legendary lyricist, Yusuf Ali Kecheri. Her devotedness to music became doubled, when she started her life journey with Mr. Govardhan, who is also a singer. To quote Praseeda, she takes advice from her husband in singing as well as Tamil lyrics. She also considers that she was more passionate towards singing only after marriage, due to the ardent support of her husband. Praseeda, along with her friends, has initiated a band, named "The Laya Trip", who have done considerable number of works, including cover songs.

Even before that, she had participated in a beauty pageant, emerging victorious, as Mrs. Stylish icon 2019. Her victory is a model to all those married women who thinks that their career or passion have come to a standstill. She is also set to take novel steps in her singing career, and is deeply indebted to her parents, in laws and husband for her successful milestones. Her children, Aadya and Diya are also having a taste of music, that again from their parents. More than being an exceptionally talented singer, she is a role model to womankind.
