Young Entrepreneur Rushdi Bin Rasheed Elected as a Member of the Loka Kerala Sabha

Dubai: Young entrepreneur Rushdi Bin Rasheed has been elected as a member of the Loka Kerala Sabha, in recognition of his contributions to the Indo-Arab social and cultural sectors. He received the official letter of invitation in this regard from the Chief Secretary of Kerala, Dr. A. Jayathilak.
Rushdi Bin Rasheed is the Managing Director of Baithan Properties, a Dubai-based real estate firm, and the Founder General Secretary of the Kannur City Pravasi Koottayma (KCPK). He is a native of Kannur City.
He has received several honors from the UAE Government, including the prestigious Golden Visa.
Representatives selected from 125 countries will participate in this global assembly, along with elected representatives from the Kerala Legislative Assembly and the Indian Parliament.
The Loka Kerala Sabha aims to strengthen ties between Kerala and the global diaspora, and to involve expatriates in the state’s development initiatives by emphasizing social, economic, and cultural issues.

The 5th Loka Kerala Sabha will be held on January 29, 30, and 31, 2026, at the R. Sankaranarayanan Thampi Hall in the Kerala Legislative Assembly complex.
