Muscat: UAE-based Malayali businessman Muhammed Ali Thayyil, CEO of AAK International Group, has been granted a 10-year Golden Visa under Oman’s newly launched Golden Residency scheme. The visa card was handed over by Salem Al Sawai, Officer at Oman Investment Corporation.

The Golden Residency initiative, introduced last month as part of Oman Vision 2040, seeks to attract investors and professionals, with a focus on boosting long-term investment, job creation, private sector growth, and knowledge transfer.

AAK International Group, headquartered in Al Aweer, UAE, operates extensively in Oman with significant investments, including projects in Oman Silal Market.

Notably, Muhammed Ali had earlier received the UAE Golden Visa in 2021. He expressed gratitude to the Omani leadership, stating that the recognition would provide strong support to his business operations and expand opportunities for international cooperation.
