Duabai:- Businessman turned Mollywood actor, first to receive Golden Visa.

We all were excited to hear the news of the Big M's of Mollywood receiving UAE's golden visa. But before them, there was this Malayalam actor, who got this opportunity. Nikesh Ram, an expat businessman from Kannur since last 16 years and an actor cum producer was the first to receive the Golden Visa. Before following his father's path to business, he worked with Le Meridien Kuwait, Yusuf Ahmed Al Ghanim, The White Stores, Ali Al Ghanim, Streamlink Communicatons Ltd ( sub of Ali Alghanim) etc for his six years of professional life in Finance. 

It was in 2014 that he made his debut as an actor. He was impressed with the making of the Malayalam movie Cocktail, and had got its remake rights from the makers. Later, in the Tamil version of the film, "Athithi", he played the role of Saravanan, the character played by Jayasurya in Malayalam. Even though the film was not a commercial success, his role gained fame. He then appeared in a cameo role in the film Velainu Vanthutta Vellaikkaran, in 2016. His made his entry to Mollywood through the movie Mazhayathu, directed by National Award winning director Suveeran. His acting was acclaimed by Times of India, who mentioned his acting as "Nikesh Ram puts on a decent performance as a stubborn husband and a doting dad" and "Nikesh Ram puts on a decent performance as a stubborn husband and a loving dad". The movie gained him three best actor awards, including the one in 2018 Toronto International Mollywood Film Festival, 2018 Overcome Film Festival California USA and the Asiavision Award for best actor in the same year. He also appeared in the Tamil movie MichaelPatti Raja in 2021. His accidental entry to the movie industry has gained us an exceptionally talented actor.

Besides his passion in acting, he is a leading businessman of UAE. His enterprise  "Flex Facility Management" provides basic facilities to big five-star establishments. It was a small scale enterprise started by his father which has now grown to a full fledged business set up with more than 1300 employees under him. His interest in hospitality sector, and hardwork has worked in the growth of the company.

Besides being a successful businessman and actor, he has an interest in vehicles. He owns an anniversary edition of Corvette's racing car, and three other vehicles, an Audi, a Range Rover and a Hardley Davidson Bike. 

He is married to Sithara from Kuthuparambu, Kannur, and has three children, Ashwika, Rohithashwa and Naithrika. He stays with his family, at Falcon City of Dreams, Dubai. He always thanks the country of UAE for helping him to fulfill his dreams. The Golden Visa is an honour for his contributions towards acting, as well as in business. He is now getting ready to hit the screens with another production venture soon.
