Grand Mufti of India Praises HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashids 20 Years of Leadership

New Delhi: His Eminence Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad, the Hon’ble Grand Mufti of India, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, on the completion of twenty years of his leadership in the Emirate of Dubai.

In an official statement, the Grand Mufti said that the visionary and dynamic leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has transformed Dubai into one of the world’s foremost cities and a global benchmark for development, innovation, security, and efficient governance. He noted that Dubai today stands as a vibrant international hub distinguished by tolerance, cleanliness, and peaceful coexistence among diverse communities.

Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad recalled his personal experience of Dubai over several decades, stating that the Emirate’s inclusive and humanitarian policies have made it a welcoming home for people from all parts of the world. He added that Dubai has emerged as a symbol of human dignity and mutual respect, while also playing a meaningful role in strengthening ties between the Islamic world and the global community.

The Grand Mufti observed that this remarkable journey of progress is firmly rooted in the noble legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founder of the United Arab Emirates, and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the architect of modern Dubai. He said their vision, founded on wisdom, justice, and service to humanity, continues to guide the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in building a prosperous and compassionate society.

Concluding his statement, Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad prayed that Almighty Allah grant His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum continued good health, long life, and success, and that Dubai and the entire United Arab Emirates be blessed with enduring peace, stability, and progress.
