Dubai City Zone Literary Festival concludes Bur Dubai Sector crowned champions

Dubai:-The fifteenth Dubai City Literary Festival, held with the theme “Sprouting Tendrils of Winged Thoughts (Chirakulla Chinthakal Thalirkkunna Naambukal)”, has concluded. Bur Dubai Sector secured first place, while Aweer and Rashidiya sectors claimed second and third places respectively. Abhinav Krishna Prakashan was selected as the Creative Talent in the men’s category, and Hawa Musammil was chosen as the Creative Talent in the women’s category. Shibili Bur Dubai was selected as the Art Talent of the Literary Festival.

The festival, organized at Oud Metha Glenelg International School, was inaugurated by ICF UAE National Secretary Abdussalam Master Kanjirath.

More than 200 talents from 34 units across the sectors of Rashidiya, Karama, Bur Dubai, Aweer, Madam, and Satwa competed in the literary festival. The competitions, which began at 9 a.m., continued until 8 p.m. In the cultural gathering, presided over by Fazal Mattannur, chief guest Anoop Kecheri delivered the keynote address. ICF International Council President Abdul Azeez Saqafi Mampad and RSC Global Chairman Faisal Bukhari also spoke. Leaders of ICF and RSC at the national and regional levels participated.

At the cultural meet held in the city as part of the Literary Festival on the theme “Seeds Seeking Spring (Vasantham Thedunna Vithukal)”, Muhammadali Kinalur, Dileep CNN, Aashiq Nedumbur, Asi, and Rashid Moorkanad participated.

Dubai City Zone General Secretary Mubeen Panur delivered the welcome address, and Executive Secretary Zakkeer Kottakkal offered the vote of thanks.
