Riyadh: The Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia has confirmed that Indians who have left the country after receiving two doses of the vaccine from Saudi Arabia can enter Saudi Arabia directly. No other country is allowed to enter Saudi Arabia without a quarantine residence.
The embassy said on Twitter that it was awaiting instructions from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs for more information. This will pave the way for Indians with Saudi Iqama to return home if they have been vaccinated here. The requirement is to be immunized after receiving the vaccine from Saudi Arabia itself. A circular from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that other Covid standards will have to be met. This marks the end of a long-running travel crisis.
