Dubai : UAE gains the second position among the most safest countries in the world, according to the reports from Global Finance, which came out on Wednesday.
The efficiency in facing the pandemic, ensuring safety to the people, wars, individual safety and Natural Disasters till 2021 May 30, became the basis of this ranking of 134 countries.
Covid death rate, Rates of Vaccination etc also were considered in ranking. Iceland holds the first position. Among the other Gulf nations, Bahrain becomes 12th, Kuwait becomes 18th and Oman become 25th.
Developed nations have occupied the initial positions in the list.
Developing countries found it difficult to deal with the Pandemic effectively at a faster rates. As per the reports, the Global Economic powers, including U.S., U.K., and France and The regional powers including Brazil, Russia, India and China, became the red zones of covid spread in the respective continents.
Currently UAE is holding the first position in vaccinating the most number of people. 74.5 percent of the population have received at least the first dose, and 64.3 percentage of people have received both the doses.
The efficiency in Covid control as well as the peaceful environment have helped UAE to gain the position.
